Students at King Philip Regional High School were evacuated Monday morning because of a blocked HV vent according to school officials. "Due to snow shifting on the roof because of the rain, a HV vent became blocked," wrote superintendent Elizabeth Zielinskiin an email. "The blocked vent caused stale air to circulate back into the building bringing with it a strange odor.
Buses were brought to protect the students from the cold and rain while the building was checked by the Fire Department and gas company.
"After the snow was cleared, and readings were taken by the Fire Department students were let back into the building to resume classes," Zielinski
