The Norfolk Lions 7th annual Chili Fest will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 6 p.m. at St. Jude’s Parish Hall, 86 Main Street, Norfolk.
This year six area restaurants will compete for bragging rights to Best Chili of 2014: Eagle Brook Saloon, Horse N’ Carriage, Mr. Dooley’s Olde Irish Country Pub, James’ Roadside Café, Budabings 50s Café and new this year Commonwealth BBQ. You get to sample each chili and then vote for your favorite. The winner will be announced at the end of the evening.
In addition to the chili, you will also be served mac & cheese, salad, cornbread, beverages and dessert. It’s a great meal and lots of fun for the whole family.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $5.00 for children (under 10). Seating is limited, so advanced tickets are recommended. Tickets can be reserved by emailing Norfolklionschili@gmail.com. We expect to have tickets for sale at the door but they will be limited so reserving them is a good idea.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the Norfolk Food Pantry. So come on out to Chili Fest and feel the heat.
