Celebrate the holiday season with festive songs, music and food as King Philip Music hosts their 21st annual Winter Pops Concert on Saturday, December 3rd at 3 p.m. This year’s show, Miracle on 34th Street, features a variety of styles of holiday songs and music, performed by students from many of KP’s chorus, Concert and Symphony Bands, and the Pride and the Passion Marching Band.
This year’s show is earlier than usual so the music program students and families can cheer on the KP football team as they play their first-ever MIAA Super Bowl Division 1A championship game held in Gillette Stadium at 8 p.m.
In addition to the music and song, the afternoon includes a raffle basket drawing and a traditional Christmas carol singalong. The music program collects donations to Toys for Tots every year; if you wish to participate, please bring an unwrapped gift.
The concert will be held at the King Philip High School field house, at 201 Franklin St. in Wrentham. Doors to the winter wonderland open at 2 p.m. and the concert begins at 3 p.m. A selection of holiday-themed appetizers, sandwiches and desserts will be available for purchase; to see the complete menu, please visit www.kingphilipmusic.org. Concert tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Students of the King Philip Middle School will receive free admission with a paid adult.
Kick off an afternoon of music, food and fun with plenty of entertainment and holiday cheer.
