Mentoring the middle school cast and tech members are high school students Josie Talerman, Sophia Maglio, Piper LaPointe, Michael Sweetman, Philip Kaelbling, Chris Currier, Abbey Citarell and Sarah Seaburg. The KPMS Drama Club first took to the middle school stage in 2005 with two teachers coordinating the efforts of twenty-four student actors, a technical crew of four, and one piano player. Since 2010 the KP drama club has undergone a transformation with a production team lead by Jamie Osborne (ELA Instructor/Director & Advisor), Ryan DeWolfe (Music & Choral Instructor/Music Director), Sean Jones (8th grade History Instructor/Assistant Director & Technical Coordinator), and Lauren Duffy (8th grade ELA Instructor/Choreographer).
Beauty and the Beast comes to life on the King Philip Middle School stage, 18 King Street, Norfolk, on March 24th, 25th, and 26th. Show times are 7pm/Friday; 2pm and 7pm/Saturday; and 2pm/Sunday. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children five and under and are available at http://kprms.seatyourself.biz. Limited tickets may be available at the door if the shows are not sold out.
