The Wrentham Cultural Council seeks to fill three open seats. The group, which promotes arts and humanities in Wrentham, has an active agenda for the upcoming year. There will be events planned to commemorate the opening of the Old Fiske Library as a museum and cultural center. The Cultural Council, which is the local branch of the Massachusetts State Cultural Council, also actively reviews and awards grants for cultural programs in the town. The council meets the second Monday of each month. Anyone interested in joining should submit an application to the Selectmen’s Office at 79 South Street. Wrentham Angels
Right in our community is a network of selfless volunteers seeking to help members of our communities dealing with short-term crisis such as an illness, accident, house fire, or even death of a family member. Called the Wrentham Angels, the group’s volunteers lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors as they face an unexpected tragedy. Volunteers deliver meals, run errands, drive patients to appointments, and other non-medical services. To read more click here.
