The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a freeze warning in effect from midnight tonight to 10 a.m. Saturday. Temperatures are predicted to hit the low 30s and have the potential to kill crops and sensitive vegetation. Potted plants normally left outdoors should be covered or brought inside away from the cold.
