I have no problem with the policy. What I do have a problem with, is that there was no notice that this was going to be suddenly enforced. In the past, we were allowed to use the bigger barrels, as long as we didn't overfill them. I have always only filled my barrel half full, and it has always been picked up. Now I, and a number of neighbors in our development have two weeks worth of trash which stinks beyond belief. I might also point out, that many of the larger barrels were emptied, In fact, one house had two 64 gallon barrels emptied,so they weren't consistent in enforcing this. Are we supposed to hold this trash for another week? Can we at least bring it to a town dumpster if it's not going to be picked up?
