During the month of February, The Wrentham Times is celebrating the life of Ernie Schaaf. He was a 24-year old Wrentham fighter who died tragically 80 years ago. His death devastated a family, broke the hearts of a community, and left questions on how such a tragedy could happen. It is an American story about a Wrentham man few know and even fewer remember.
