Entries may be created by hand or computer. For more information and how-tos visit www.wrenthamreads.org. Post cards can be entered on-line, via email, or dropped off at the Fiske Public Library.
From April 10th through April 15th, all entries will be displayed at the Fiske Public Library where students, family and friends can view the exhibition and vote for their favorites. The post card with the most votes will win a “People’s Choice” award.
Children, adults, teachers and more are encouraged to also submit post card creations for display at the Fiske Public Library and their entries will be eligible for the “People’s Choice” award too!
Enter by April 5th. Winners will be announced on Shakespeare’s birthday April 23rd.
Also, for grades 4-12 and adults, in conjunction with Wrentham Reads Shakespeare, The Hempstead Players will perform Shakespeare for Kids II on April 13th at 1:30 p.m. at the Fiske Public Library.
A Children’s Workshop About Shakespeare for grades 2-6 with Ned Fitzgerald is being offered at the Library on May 16th from 3:30-5 p.m. As a grand finale, a skit will be performed by workshop participants. Props and costumes will be provided.
Sign up for both programs at the circulation desk. These programs are free, but a canned good for the food pantry will be gratefully accepted. The Hempstead Players performance has been made possible by the Sweatt Fund; funding for Wrentham Reads is provided by the Friends of the Fiske Library.
