King Philip DECA, the high school's respected business organization, has started again and welcomed returning and new members. The year began quickly with many of the seniors starting their projects right away. Juniors and Seniors used the High School's annual open house in September as an opportunity to promote their projects and sell their products.
This year, KP DECA's senior officers are; Jeff Yatsuhashi was elected president, Abby Melanson as Vice President of Leadership, Tori Desmond as Vice President of Career Development, Brie Stephani as Vice President of Hospitality, Lexi Mutascio as Vice President of Marketing, Jenna Midura as Vice President of Finance, and Jaron May as Executive President of the entire DECA organization of the high school division. Newly elected Junior Representatives Logan Greenberg and Kat Caravaggio joined the officer team to represent the junior classes. These students will be attending the Fall State Leadership Conference at Bentley University, Massachusetts on October 24th.
The annual King Philip DECA Breakfast is set for November 9th as the official opening of King Philip DECA season. Parents and students will come together to celebrate the induction of the senior officers and the new junior members. All are excited for what the 2017 King Philip DECA year has in store.
