If you’re curious by nature, register now for Minds in Motion which begins September 4 at the Wrentham Senior Center, 400 Taunton St.
Each of the four, 1-hour sessions features a different topic. Subjects vary but here’s a sampling of what you might find: ‘Scratch Your Head’ Moral Dilemmas, The Art of Food Photography, The Enduring Wisdom of Ancient Proverbs, Advice Columnists Through the Years, What Philosophy’s Big Thinkers Can Teach, and Pop Music’s Greatest Songwriting Duos.
What distinguishes Minds in Motion is its interactive approach. “There is ZERO lecturing,” says course leader Jerry Cianciolo. “This is all about sharing your thoughts and reacting to various ideas in a comfortable and friendly setting.” What is asked of attendees, says Cianciolo, is “a spirit of adventure, an open mind, a sense of humor, and a willingness to sometimes leave their comfort zone.”
Minds in Motion runs on Tuesdays from 1:15 to 2:15 on September 4, 11, 18, and 25. The cost for the program is $10. Limited to 15 participants, preregistration is required. Call (508) 384-5425 to register.
